PRESQU'ILE LIGHTHOUSE
Presqu'ile Lighthouse in Brighton has been a long-standing beacon of safety for boats coming near the rocky shoreline of Lake Ontario.
Since 1840, when the lighthouse was built, it has undergone many changes, and because of these events, the lighthouse is now in danger of being lost.
The group The Presqu'ile Point Lighthouse Preservation Society lead by Norm Bastin is spearheading a campaign to save the lighthouse.
Due to our experience in historical restoration and conservation, we were involved in helping to determine what is necessary to preserve this historical attraction for generations to come.
